Asante Kotoko advancing in the signing of Bofoakwa Tano captain Saaka Dauda

Saaka Dauda

Giants from Ghana, Asante Kotoko, are gaining ground in their pursuit of Bofoakwa Tano captain Saaka Dauda.

Bofoakwa Tano, a team headquartered in Sunyani, values the forward at GHC200,000, and he is about to leave this window.

Due to his strong play in the previous season, Dauda has drawn a lot of interest from Ghana Premier League clubs.

With eight goals in 32 games, the highly-regarded attacker had a fantastic season in the Ghana Premier League.

Bofoakwa Tano, who was demoted to the lower level but managed to make it to the MTN FA Cup final before losing to Nsoatreman FC, had Dauda as a vital player.

The Porcupine Warriors are reportedly very close to signing the highly sought-after forward during the current window.

According to reports, the striker and the Ghanaian powerhouses have reached a personal agreement, and the latter is close to joining them.

The teams need to agree on a price before selling the forward, even though they have reached personal terms with the players.

While Asante Kotoko wants to pay GHC150,000 to acquire Saaka Dauda, Bofoakwa-Tano is demanding GHC200,000 at the transfer.

It is anticipated that this week, all sides will agree on the forward's transfer.
