Board Member Vincent Sowah Odotei: "Hearts of Oak will recover strongly."

Vincent Sowah Odotei, a board member of Hearts of Oak, is hopeful that the team will recover well from their terrible 2023–2024 campaign.

On the penultimate day of the Ghana Premier League, the team stunned Bechem United 3-2 to avoid relegation.

They also suffered their third consecutive defeat at the hands of the Porcupine Warriors on Wednesday, losing 2-1 to Asante Kotoko in the inaugural Democracy Cup match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

"We continue to analyze everything, and I am optimistic that with the caliber of people on the board, we will bounce back strongly," Sowah stated in an interview with Akoma FM following the loss.

"We are organizing things to make sure we make the best choice for the club, and we will soon announce our new acquisitions."

"We will go back to the drawing board and make sure that we do what is necessary to make us more competitive for the coming season because hearts are supposed to win.”
