We're still going over the events of the season. Vincent Sowah Odotei, a board member of Hearts of Oak

On the last day of the Ghana Premier League season, the Phobians narrowly averted relegation with a stunning 3-2 comeback victory against Bechem United.

But their problems didn't end there, as they lost their third straight game against the Porcupine Warriors, falling to Asante Kotoko 2-1 in the inaugural Democracy Cup match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After the loss, Sowah gave a positive assessment of the board's potential for a strong rebound in an interview with Akoma FM. "We continue to examine things, and I am convinced that with the level of people on the board, we will bounce back strongly," Sowah said.

"We are organizing things to make sure we make the best choice for the club, and we will soon announce our new acquisitions."

"We will go back to the drawing board and make sure that we do what is necessary to make us more competitive for the coming season because hearts are supposed to win.”
