On August 15, Asante Kotoko will leave for a preseason trip in South Africa.

Asante Kotoko

According to Oyerepa Sports, Asante Kotoko has great news: the team will depart for South Africa on August 15 to begin preseason training.

Otumfour Osei Tutu II, the club's life patron, created this project to give the team a chance to practice and connect in a new setting as they prepare for the trials of the forthcoming season.

Friendly matches against local South African clubs will be part of the pre-season trip, giving the players exposure and experience they may use to prepare for the 2024–25 campaign
This comes after Asante Kotoko's recent victory in the Democracy Cup, where they won the inaugural trophy by defeating Accra Hearts of Oak, their bitter rivals.

Upon completing the 2023–24 season, the Porcupine Warriors parted ways with 18 players, and they have since added numerous new players to further strengthen their roster. The South African tour is an important component in their preparation for a successful campaign.
