Ghanaian team Asante Kotoko has issued a warning to the media about recording their senior and junior men's team practices without permission. They have also advised against filming any activity about the building of their training facility, which is referred to as THE KING'S PROJECT.

In a statement made public on Thursday, the Porcupine Warriors stressed how quickly media outlets and those involved in these kinds of activities ought to stop.

Additionally, Asante Kotoko declared that it would pursue all available legal options against anyone who disobeys this order. The club aims to uphold these guidelines to keep authority over its interactions with the media.

The club announced that it will hold an official media open day before the commencement of the 2024–2025 football season to improve relations with the media.

This week, Kotoko began its preseason ahead of the start of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season. After almost 20 players left, Kotoko signed eleven new players.
