Vincent Sowah-Odotei, a board member of Hearts of Oak, has asked fans to have patience while the team negotiates the player transfer market.

In addition to Glid Otanga and Ibrahim Salifu leaving, the Phobians have added Michael Awuah and Benjamin Asare, the former goalie for Accra Great Olympics.

Speaking to ChannelOne Sports during a ceremony to officially turn over the newly constructed Phobia House, Sowah-Odotei stressed the club's strategic approach to transfer negotiations.

As club dignitaries toured the new building and accepted the formal handover documents, Hearts Executive Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV led the tour.

The Phobia House, according to Sowah-Odotei, is a critical step toward Hearts of Oak's goal of becoming a premier African club. He reassured supporters that the team is taking its time and being strategic with its transfers.

"Remember that this is not a sprint but a marathon the transfer time. We believe we are on track thus far, and the transfer period is still open," he said.

Hearts of Oak placed fourteenth in the Ghana Premier League 2023–2024 standings.
