Leading team in the Ghana Premier League, Hearts of Oak, is starting a thorough technical evaluation in preparation for the 2024–2025 season.

The Phobians had a terrible season the previous year and placed 14th in the Ghana Premier League standings.

The Ghanaian powerhouses are building their team to be formidable as the new season draws near and they aim to have an impact on both the FA Cup and the top division in Ghana.

"After the recently concluded season, Accra Hearts of Oak is excited to notify its loyal supporters and interested parties that the club is conducting an extensive technical evaluation."

"The technical subcommittee of the board has held meetings with the management team and the technical staff to discuss recruitment plans, performance reviews, and planning for the 2024–2025 season."

"The club is dedicated to improving its performance and competitiveness, having had a difficult 2023–24 season and realizing the need for development."

In the meantime, rivals Asante Kotoko defeated the Phobians in the Democracy Cup on Wednesday night for the third time in a row.

At the Accra Sports Stadium, the Porcupine Warriors defeated the Phobians 2-1 to win the inaugural Cup.
