Asante Kotoko prepared to finalize the capture of Bofoakwa Tano captain Saaka Dauda.

Saaka Dauda

The reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko, plan to finalize Bofoakwa Tano's transfer during the current window.

With eight goals in 32 games, the highly-regarded attacker had a fantastic season in the Ghana Premier League.

His outstanding achievements have piqued the curiosity of other league teams, notably the Porcupine Warriors.

Bofoakwa Tano, who was demoted to the lower level but managed to make it to the MTN FA Cup final before losing to Nsoatreman FC, had Dauda as a vital player.

Dauda, whose contract with the club expires in two years, is reportedly planning to join Kotoko, per reports in the local media. There are rumors that Kotoko and Bofoakwa Tano are nearing the end of their negotiations.

In the upcoming days, he will undergo his required medical examination before signing a contract with Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors will offer the highly-regarded forward a three-year contract.

A crucial asset for the Ghanaian giants, Dauda will be especially so after his season-ending exploits.
