Defender Lord Amoah of Berekum Chelsea is a target for Asante Kotoko.

In preparation for the upcoming season, Berekum Chelsea Lord Amoah is a target for Ghana's biggest team, Asante Kotoko.

The just concluded Ghana Premier League saw the 21-year-old have a tremendous season with Chelsea. He played a key role in the Bibires' third-place finish in the Ghanaian premier league.

Amoah has experience playing in the highest division in his home country. Since making his debut, he has made 61 appearances and scored 8 goals.

He made 29 appearances and contributed three assists in the Ghana Premier League during the previous season.

Several teams are interested in signing the industrious right-back, notably Asante Kotoko, who are keen to get Amoah to bolster their defense in the upcoming campaign.

Asante Kotoko is eager to sign the highly-rated right-back this summer and has reportedly contacted Chelsea about his availability.

With Justice Blay starting much of the season as a full-back, Kotoko had a lot of issues last season, especially at right back.

The Porcupine Warriors, meanwhile, are reportedly eager to sign Amoah, who had a strong season with Chelsea last year.
