Terry Yegbe, a defender from Ghana, has been named to Sofascore's Team of the Week in recognition of his outstanding play in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Yegbe, an Elfsborg player, showed off his abilities in a recent game against BK Hacken.

At the Bravida Arena on Sunday, the former Black Meteors defender played the whole game as his team easily defeated Hacken 5-3.

Yegbe scored twice for Elfsborg, motivating his team to win the highly anticipated match and earn all the points possible.

After Elfsborg's fast counterattack in the 26th minute through Sebastian Holmén, the home team's Simon Gustafson gave them the lead 22 minutes into the match.

The hosts took the lead again in the game just before halftime thanks to a goal from Valgeir Lunddal Fridriksson. Hacken had a 2-1 lead at the intermission.

After the break, Yegbe took the field and, after Gustav-Henriksson had set him up, he leveled the pegging for his outfit in the 48th minute.

In the highly anticipated match, the home team scored again in the 66th minute to take back the lead.

Hacken nearly stole the game's three maximum points, but the Ghanaian defender came through once more to restore parity in stoppage time.

But after two quick goals in extra time, the visitors were the ones to finally steal the win.

Elfsborg came from behind to win the game with as many points as possible thanks to goals from Arbër Zeneli and Per Frick in injury time.
