Hearts of Oak defender Kelvin Osei Asibey open for competition at club

Kelvin Osei Asibey, a defender for Hearts of Oak, has stated he is prepared to fight for a starting position in the next season.

The former Eleven Wonders defender confirmed he is unaffected by the entry of new players as he opens for competition at the club in an interview with Kessben FM, which Footballghana.com was watching.

Participants will arrive and go. Both newcomers and veteran players are present. There is no doubt that the competition will be fierce. How well you do in training will determine if you get a starting position at the club. I just need to give it my all to win the coach over, even though selection will be extremely difficult," he remarked.

On Wednesday night, Hearts of Oak will play Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup.
