Hearts of Oak is attempting to sign defender Fatawu Sulemana from Medeama.

Fatawu Sulemana

Hearts of Oak, a massive Ghanaian team, is making every effort to sign Medeama defender Fatawu Sulemana during the current transfer window.

Before the start of the upcoming season, the Phobians want to add some elite players to their roster.

After a difficult season the previous year, the dominant team in the Ghana Premier League is eager to add quality players to their roster to contend the following year.

Sulemana, who works for Medeama, has been recognized by the Phobians as the ideal player to lock down the left-back position on the team.

Hearts of Oak are reportedly negotiating with Medeama to complete the transaction after reaching a personal terms agreement with the highly-regarded left-back.

When the 20-year-old joined the Mauves and Yellows in 2019, he immediately made an impact. Over the past two seasons, he played a key role in helping Medeama win their first-ever Ghana Premier League championship.

Due to political turmoil in the nation, he was forced to leave the Sudanese team Al-Merrikh SC last year after an exceptional performance won him a transfer.

The industrious left-back rejoined Medeama for the Ghana Premier League's second round of play after returning to Ghana.

While Medeama was unable to retain the Ghana Premier League championship, Sulemana made 13 league appearances.
