Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Accra Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo, has refuted recent media allegations indicating that the team intends to split ways with eighteen players.

There have been rumors that the Ghana Premier League team will undergo a significant roster revamp during the current transfer window.

Footballghana.com was able to see Addo's interview with Peace FM, where he stated that the club has not decided to release this many players. He clarified that at the conclusion of the season, the coach usually delivers a thorough report that can include recommendations for loaning or transferring certain players.

As part of their attempts to bolster the squad, the Phobians have already revealed the signing of two new players.

"After the entire season, the coach provides his comprehensive findings. Based on those, I believe we should move some players out or put them on loan so he can bring in new players as things wrap up. We won't withhold anything from the public," he stated.

"Let me reiterate that in order for us to make any decisions as a club, we will need the backing of every Phobian worldwide. Only then can we move through this together. No, it won't happen (letting go of 18 players). The coach may not agree with me, but we won't carry out that kind of widespread hiring.

Like everything else that happens in the media sector, if you become a huge club, most individuals or everyone will like to generate news items around your content or create material with your image so they may connect with their readers or followers.

"Let me clarify for everyone that the list that is circulating is based on speculations and is not official from the team. We anticipate that we will inform everyone of the coach's choice. However, considering it is not originating from the club, everyone should regard what is circulating as rumors."
