Razak Kasim

The local media has stated that Razak Kasim has completed his signing with Hearts of Oak, the dominant team in the Ghana Premier League.

Following a dismal season in which they finished in 14th place, the Phobians are strengthening their squad.

The 30-year-old defensive midfielder left Great Olympics at the end of the season, making him a free agent at this time.

After weeks of talks, he ultimately came to an agreement with the Hearts of Oak, albeit he was still on the rather of Asante Kotoko.

In the 2023–24 Olympic season, Kasim played in thirty games despite being demoted from the team.

He joins the Phobians as their third recruit after they acquired Michael Mensah Awuah and Asamoah Boateng Afriyie of Nations FC before the upcoming campaign.

Hearts of Oak's goal is to get better in advance of the 2024–2025 football season.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the 2024–25 football season will begin on September 6.
