Elvis Kyei Baffour is a new recruit at Asante Kotoko, and he's motivated to thrive despite the pressures at the club.

On Monday, the Porcupine Warriors formally declared that the former attacker for Liberty Professionals had signed a permanent contract.

The 25-year-old, a Kumasi native, signed a three-year contract to play for his previous team.

Since July 2, 2024, Kyei has been training with the squad and has impressed the technical staff with his knowledge and abilities.

"Pressure is a constant." Being a Kumasi boy, I have to be resolute. I think I can handle the pressure at the club if I work hard and be tenacious. He stated, "We'll see what we can do to reduce the pressure."

His career, which started at Kumasi Rainbow FC before transferring to Liberty in 2017, will likewise begin anew with his return to his hometown.

Kyei has played for AS Soliman in Tunisia and NK Rogaska in Slovenia as part of his professional career.

He should play on Wednesday when Kotoko plays Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup
