Rumor of Hearts of Oak winning first trophies will end - Fredrick Asare

Goalie Fredrick Asare of Asante Kotoko is hopeful that his team would refute the delusion that Hearts of Oak consistently takes first place in Ghanaian competitions.

On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium, the two teams will square off in the inaugural Democracy Cup match honoring thirty years of parliamentary democracy under the Fourth Republic.

The match between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko begins at 6 p.m., and the old Black Stars versus Parliamentarians game begins at 1 p.m.

The Ghanaian national team will play a friendly match against DC United in Washington after the winner of the match between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.
