Baba Yahaya sets a 10-goal objective ahead of the Ghana Premier League season.

Baba Yahaya

Baba Yahaya, a midfielder for Asante Kotoko, is looking to improve his goal totals for the next Ghana Premier League season.

One of the few players still with the team after the extensive purge is the former King Faisal standout.

The midfield player recently acknowledged that his first season with the Porcupine Warriors did not measure up to expectations.

He also claims that he is in a desperate attempt to have a significant influence on the forthcoming football season.

In an interview with the media, Baba Yahaya reaffirmed his aim to score ten goals for Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League the next year.

"Last season, I was unable to support myself. I want to score at least ten goals for Kotoko this season. I am exerting a lot of effort to meet this goal," he remarked.

Asante Kotoko is presently getting ready for the campaign of 2024–2025. In the preseason friendly games, they have already recorded two victories.

As part of the preparations to open the recently constructed TNA Park in Tarkwa, they will play Medeama on Friday.

Karela United will be Kotoko's first Premier League opponent.
