After a dismal 2023–24 Ghana Premier League season in which they parted ways with 18 players, the Porcupine Warriors have been busy in the transfer market, strengthening their roster.
Speaking on Peace FM, which Footballghana.com was watching, Ogum complimented the technical skills of the new hires. "They are excellent players, in my opinion. Their technical skills are excellent. They are comfortable with the ball and able to demonstrate both their superior technical skills and the fundamentals of the game. They are quick, powerful, and exude confidence both as a unit and as individuals," he remarked.
With these new additions, Ogum thinks the team's performance in the following 2024–2025 season will improve dramatically. "I am glad we acquired them because I think they will offer us a fresh face in terms of our performance," he said in closing.
Asante Kotoko is now getting ready for the upcoming season to wow its supporters with improved performance.
