Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, has resumed training after a successful surgery.

Following the conclusion of the 2023–24 Ghana Premier League season, the previous manager of WAFA took a leave of absence due to illness.

Assistant coach David Ocloo took over in his absence, and last month at the Accra Sports Stadium, he guided the club to victory in the first-ever Democracy Cup with a 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak.

Narteh Ogum is back in charge of getting Asante Kotoko ready for the new season, which starts on September 6.

The group and coaching staff were thrilled to have him back.

Narteh Ogum, starting his third season with the team, wants to win a trophy and dazzle the spectators with his skillful play.

The 2024–25 Asante Kotoko Ghana Premier League season will begin on the road at the Aliu Mahama Stadium against Karela United.
