Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum of Asante Kotoko has voiced conflicting emotions after the departure of outstanding player Bernard Somuah Sarpong.

Following an outstanding domestic campaign, the 18-year-old just secured a season-long loan move to RC Celta Fortuna, Celta Vigo's youth squad.

The fact that the Spanish team chose to hire him is evidence of his talent and their faith in his ability to contribute to the team professionally.

In the third division of Spanish football, the Primera Federacion Group 1, is where Celta Fortuna plays.

Before the players left, Ogum remarked, "I'm here on a mixed emotion," during a farewell meeting. As you are all aware, Bernard Somuah, one of our own, has earned a contract and must depart, so it is both sad and happy news at the same time. There are conflicting emotions. He now has the chance to pursue better opportunities, thus it's a happy occasion. Today, he is heading to Spain.

We've had a great time having him around. You've scored some amazing goals in our last few games. All of this suggests that when you were younger, you were peaking and rising; as a result, scouts saw you and took an interest in you. As a team, we are pleased that you have this chance.

Somuah left Ghana early to go to Spain and join his new group.
