Felix Afena-Gyan, a Ghanaian international, has started pre-season training with Italian Serie B team Cremonese in preparation for the forthcoming campaign.

The former Roma striker struggled to earn a starting berth at Cremonese last season as his form declined. In the just-ended season, he made just eight appearances and scored one goal.

The 21-year-old attacker from Ghana wants to start strong for Cremonese by overcoming obstacles from the previous campaign.

But has joined his teammates at Cremonese, where they are working hard to be ready for the 2024–2025 football season.

In August 2022, Afena-Gyan moved to Cremonese in an attempt to get consistent playing time.

The young Ghanaian player hasn't quite lived up to the huge expectations that greeted him when he joined the team.

Two seasons ago, Afena-Gyan rose to fame when he came off the bench to assist Roma defeat Genoa in Serie A by scoring two goals.

Since making his debut for the Black Stars in 2022, the forward has made seven appearances, however he has only managed one goal.
