Mohammed Polo: "Ghana football has lost its foundation."

Mohammed Polo

Mohammed Ahmed Polo, the founder of Hearts of Oak, feels that Ghanaian football has lost its roots since Colts football isn't operating as it once did.

According to him, that particular kind of football will instantly draw talent from throughout the nation, bringing the top players together to support the national teams.

He gave the example of how Ghana came to be known as the Brazil of Africa thanks to the Colts system.

"There used to be a basis that was being followed, but it is no longer there. Every nation has an identity, and that is its identity, the former Ghana international said on Asempa FM.

We are aware of our style of play, and it is this that has earned us the moniker Brazil of Africa, not anything else, just the similarity of our football.

Football is evolving together with the rest of the globe. Developing your brand to create value is all that is required of you when you already have one.
