Justice Blay, a midfielder for Asante Kotoko, has shown optimism in the team's readiness for the 2024–25 campaign.

Blay complimented the coaches' intense training regimens and mentioned how driven and technically sound the team is.

The previous season presented difficulties for the Porcupine Warriors, who placed sixth in the domestic premier league, won by Samartex.

Blay is among the select few players who have stuck with the team after the extensive player purge after the campaign.

In an interview with the media, the former Medeama midfield player expressed optimism for the team's future and thought their diligence would pay off.

"The guys are receiving excellent instruction from their coaches, and I believe the preparations for the Friday game are going well as well. I think the technical training we are receiving is excellent, and everyone is committed to succeeding and moving forward this year. Because of our preparation, they should keep an eye out for us on Friday because we will undoubtedly win," he remarked.

Asante Kotoko is presently getting ready for the campaign of 2024–2025. In the preseason friendly games, they have already recorded two victories.

On Friday, as part of the opening ceremony for the recently constructed TNA Park in Tarkwa, The Porcupine will play Medeama.

Karela United will be Kotoko's first Premier League opponent.
