Hearts of Oak formally announces Linda Mtange's contract termination.

As they continue to reassemble their roster in preparation for the upcoming season, Ghanaian powerhouse Hearts of Oak has announced the mutual termination of Linda Mtange's contract.

The 21-year-old Congolese's two-year tenure with the team, which commenced at the onset of the 2022–23 season, has come to an end with this.

With four goals in 29 Ghana Premier League games last season, Mtange was among Hearts of Oak's finest performers. He scored four goals in 22 games the previous season as well.

The club expressed their best wishes and gratitude to Mtange for his service in a statement.

Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions played in the Homowo Cup on Sunday, and only one player from their roster from the previous season was involved.

As they get ready for the new season, the team has relocated its preseason camp to Asutuare.
