Before the second leg of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifications, Black Stars coach Otto Addo has reassured supporters that the team will concentrate on improving their finishing.
In the first leg of the doubleheader, Ghana drew 0-0 with Sudan, missing multiple scoring opportunities while putting up a strong showing overall.
Although the national squad displayed excellent defensive discipline and spirit, they were unable to take advantage of chances to score.
Following the match, Otto Addo expressed regret for the lost opportunities and pledged to improve their offensive strategy prior to the rematch on Tuesday, October 15.
He stated, "In fact, we will attempt to train them on finishing and give them confidence, that's all."
"This was the sole item that was absent. They're just about to wrap up the action, that's all," he continued. "The atmosphere was good, the emotion was there, and the defensive discipline was there."
At the Martyrs of February Stadium, the return leg will begin at 13:00 GMT.
With three games played, Ghana is currently in third place in their group with two points; a win will increase their chances of making it to the tournament in Morocco the following year.
