According to former CEO Opoku Nti, stable management was the key to success during his stint at Asante Kotoko.

Opoku Nti, the former CEO of Asante Kotoko, attributes the team's success under his direction to steady management.

For three months, Nti had regular one-on-one meetings with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II in his capacity as interim CEO, until a board was assembled.

2014 saw Nti succeed Dr. KK Sarpong, leading Asante Kotoko to the FA Cup and the Ghana Premier League championship. He underlined that attaining these successes required steady leadership and a unified technical team.

"They wanted to fire (coach Didi Dramani) as soon as I took over, but I said no, we need to keep the coach since he has been leading them through training for a while and he knows the boys," Nti remarked to Joy Sports.

He said, "So things worked smoothly right from the start since we had stable management and there were no issues with the technical side."

Opoku Nti's leadership and choice to keep the technical staff together were key factors in Asante Kotoko's winning campaign
