Hearts of Oak will become the premier club in Africa with its infrastructure development - Afede Togbe

Togbe Afede XIV, the chairman of the Hearts of Oak Board, has said that the club would become the premier organization in Africa with the support of infrastructural development.

He said this on Tuesday, following a contractor's delivery of a contemporary secretariat to the club's board.

Executive Chairman Togbe Afede led the board in receiving the state-of-the-art building during the handover event, which was held at the facility's Adabraka location.

Managing Director and board member Vincent Sowah Odotei was present at the ceremony. He and other members gave the media a tour of the facilities.

According to Togbe, the club will become the most prominent in Africa thanks to the Phobia House and the Pobiman Academy initiative, which are now in operation.

Following the event, he addressed the media, saying, "As I've always stated, we have a vision to establish a club that assumes pre-eminence in African football, while serving the community, touching the community, and making a difference in the lives of our people."

"We understand that without infrastructural investments, we cannot accomplish that. We will commission this facility sooner rather than later, and the Goodman Academy shortly after that.

"The two together show our dedication to become Africa's premier club."
