I had no issues with Hearts of Oak - Glid Otanga.

Glid Otanga

Glid Otanga, a midfielder from the Congo who left Hearts of Oak to play for Al Kharaitiyat SC in Qatar, claims he has no issues with the club.

Otanga secured a switch to the Qatari club during the current transfer window, ending his time with the Phobians.

According to earlier rumors, the club's leadership was at odds with the highly-regarded midfield player, which caused him to leave.

Otanga, however, quickly refuted these rumors in an interview, claiming he left the club on good terms.

"I don't find Hearts of Oak to be problematic. I wrote to the club's leadership before I joined the Qatari team to thank them and the players as well. Thus, there is no issue between me and Hearts of Oak, and even now, if I need to go back to the club, I will," he stated in a voice message that Footballghana.com heard on Wontumi FM.

After joining the Phobians in 2022, Otanga has made an impression. He was a key player in the team's Ghanaian FA Cup victory.

After an exceptional performance, he became a transfer target for other clubs; nonetheless, the Congolese player chose to join the Qatari club.

As Al Kharaitiyat SC looks to make an impression in the upcoming season, he will be a great addition to the team.

Otanga played for Coton Sport FC de Garoua in Cameroon and Akonangui FC in Equatorial Guinea before moving to Ghana, where he acquired useful experience.

Having played in several African divisions, he possesses a wide range of skills and a solid grasp of the game, which makes him an asset to any squad.
