At their new home, the TNA Stadium, Medeama of the Ghana Premier League has announced an exciting matchup with Asante Kotoko.

"We are taking on Asante Kotoko Sporting Club on the historic opening day of the TNA Stadium🏟️ The Porcupine will undoubtedly feel the heat!!🔥," the team posted on their official social media accounts.

The Gold Fields Ghana Foundation constructed the stadium, and on August 16, 2024, it will formally open to the public. This game is important to Medeama as they get ready for the 2024–2025 season.

To improve their squad for the upcoming season, the Yellow and Mauve have added new players.

The Medeama supporters are thrilled to be cheering on their club at their new home field and are looking forward to the historic matchup with Asante Kotoko.

The club has made public their pre-season schedule of events.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Akoon Community Park, the squad will resume training under the direction of Coach Nebojsa Kapor.

Following an 18-day pre-season training session that begins on Friday, July 26, in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional Capital, the players and officials will return to Tarkwa on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
